Perfect for Price [Posted on 2007-10-18] I could not find a player for my G3 IPod (I know - it should be in the Smithsonian). So I purchased this item reluctantly because it was the only one that would work with the G3. I had never heard of the the company. I was PLEASANTLY suprised with the product. Sure - it does not sound like a Bose - but what do you expect in the under $100 range. I set my IPod EQ to "Rock" setting and it sounds fine. The remote is awesome. The design is nice. The radio reception is good and the antenae retracts nicely. The volume is plenty loud for use at home and camping in our trailer. It is fairly light even with the batteries. It works wonderfully with a G3. Also, the custom adapters to snuggle your Ipod so it doesn't move in the slot are perfect for both my G3 and my wife's IPod Mini. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive portable ipod player that also works great at the house. My only problem is now I want one at work!
only one problem [Posted on 2008-01-01] looks good; sounds good; only complaint is the adapter for the IPod Nano does not work - had to modify it for the IPod to fit in and plug into the player.
nice product [Posted on 2008-01-02] the product i was sent had no audio hook up but everything else worked great. my girlfriends ipod classic and her son's new ipod nano worked great with the speakers.
Great! Good Speakers, User Friendly, Only One Minor Complaint... [Posted on 2008-03-15] I LOVE this product! It's light weight, the speakers sound really good (but I'm no speaker expert, so others may notice differences b/w these and expensive speakers). The little remote is cool, but I can't quite figure out how to navigate my ipod nano with it. Seems the best option is to just select a playlist and let it do it's thing (it's hard to go from one playlist to another, but going forward and back b/w songs is very easy). The only real complaint I have about this product is that it loses the pre-programmed radio stations when you unplug it, which is super annoying to me, since I move it around the house and into the yard many times a day. If it weren't for that, I would have given it 5 stars. Oh, and it picks up radio stations (AM/FM) really clearly, which was a very important factor for me. Overall, I'm really happy with this product and I would like to thank everyone out there who gives honest feedback about products, because I always rely on them anytime I buy something!
Junk [Posted on 2008-05-02] This is an incredibly inferior piece of junk. Although it looks and feels sharp, the sound quality is just horrendous, both in the iPod and FM mode. What a disappointment! After thoroughly researching all the other iPod portable speaker systems with FM radio, it looks like the Altec Lansing im600 is the one to beat. Do not bother with this piece of trash.
