This is the best case I have been able to find in terms of quality and features. I love the stand, the clip is nice (even though some people consider it a negative, I like it), and I like the customabilty. My black iPod is now purple and looks really great thanks to the iSkin Slim, but unfortunately they only come in 3-packs and will add another $20 to this already pricey case. I think it's worth it though. With the last case I had, the screen was all scratched up after just the first day of use, and it was bulky as it was one-size-fits-all. This case is custom-made for the 30gb iPod and fits perfectly, and truly is scratch-resistent. If really protecting your iPod and having it look nice is worth a few extra bucks, you should definitely invest in this product.

I needed a case that could take a beating since I'll be sharing my ipod 30GB with my kids. After reading the reviews about most headphone jacks not fitting, I went to the Apple store to buy one since they have an excellent return policy of "if I didn't like it, I can return it with no restocking fee". Everyone is correct about the headphone jacks not fitting. That's where a Dremel tool solves everything! Use a cone tip and make the hole in the outter shell bigger.
The inner silicone is a bit of a dust collector, but only if you keep taking it out of the plastic shell. I don't have anything to dock it in to so just stays in the shell. The belt clip feel flimsy. I don't know if I trust it clipped to my Camelbak if I'm running around.
It would be a 5 star product, but it's too pricey and I had to make the enhancement.
UPDATE**I dropped my IPOD at the gym. Crashed the HDD inside. You could hear clicking! Apple store exchanged my IPOD under warranty right there at the store. This is great for protecting from little bangs in your backpack, but don't drop it on the floor!
Nice but Flawed [Posted on 2007-08-22]
I bought the claro about three months ago. It does what it is supposed to do but about a month ago one of the plastic rings that secures the belt clip to the body of the claro cracked and lost a piece. I did not handle the iskin roughly so it is a surprise that this happened. Now the belt clip is only secured by one ring and is only a matter of time before it snaps.

Great protection no scratches on my ipod
Its slim doesnt add much bulk
I just have one complaint
The clip on back is very annoying, it squeaks everytime you touch it
But I fixed that by sawing if off
Other then that its great

This case puts the Agent 18 Video Shield to shame. With two levels of protection, I know my iPod is protected.
