Amazing product at an amazing price, built in stereo speakers sound great, fm recording, voice recording, line-in recording. this lil mp3 player has it all, expandable memory with microSD, large bright and vivid screen, useful software bundled with powerful movie converter. detatchable battery for those long trips (really long trips because the battery life is outstanding). easy to navigate interface. and sleek design.
Near perfect flash based player [Posted on 2008-08-27]
The I-River X20 is near perfect. Everything I could want in a flash based player. Before, if you wanted I-Rivers great sound quality in a flash based player, you had to go without in many other aspects. Now, I-River has combined everything you could want. Micro SD expansion, Video capability, Windows drag & drop and an amazing color screen. And a couple things you didn't know you wanted like mini speakers built in (no great volume or sound quality here, but there are times they're useful) and a rechargable lithium battery that can be 'user replaced' when it eventually dies. My only complaint, though quite minor, is the ugly white control pad. Wished it was just a bit bigger and a different color (black?). Also, I wished the display could be viewed in portrait mode. Very minor complaints considering all the positives. Just an FYI, I pretty much just listen to music, so I have little to no experience with listening to audio books or viewing videos.
