Cute and it functions well [Posted on 2006-08-09] Ive had this MP3 player for over 6 months now and I really like it. At first I thought it was a piece of junk because after a month or so, it kept shutting off and then wouldnt play anything. But I realized that you have to plug it into your computer every so often and do the MP3 update (if you click the right option, it wont erase all of your songs). If you do that, it functions perfectly! The sound is good too.
It comes with a neat set of headphones that you can wear around your neck, and its light enough to just hang there.
The downfall: I personally dont like the way it looks hanging around my neck (or chest/stomach actually, it dangles down pretty far), but the square design makes it to awkward to put in your pocket or even under your shirt. If you wear it out though, you will get attention...people will be pretty suprised that its an MP3 player. Overall, I really like it.
Nice at first... [Posted on 2006-09-17] I bought this MP3 player about a year ago because I heard nothing but the best about it...although it was still brand new at the time. When I received it, I found it was very difficult to use and even after you knew what you were doing, it was confusing to use. Unfortunately, after only 8 months with it, the small cube died. The buttons stopped working while it was on, so the battery ran low, and I lost everything. Haven't been able to turn it on since. There is NO help from Mobiblu when something like this happens. My suggestion is, spend the few extra bucks and get yourself an Apple iPod Nano.
Cute, but... [Posted on 2006-09-30] Really liked the Mobiblue 1500 cube at first - great sound, easy to use. But found there is a serious design flaw in the product within the first month - the plug for the earphones is on the top of the cube. When working out, a little sweat got in the unit and fried it. Completely unusable. To make matters worse, the support for Mobiblue was HORRIBLE! They took over a month to initially reply to my e-mails for help (there is no support line number to call), only to tell me what I had already read and tried from their on-line materials.
If you want to use the MP3 player just for internal use, it's OK. But don't even think about it if you're looking to use it while walking, jogging, mowing the yard, etc. And don't even think you'll get any help if you contact their support group!
Bad speaker [Posted on 2007-03-09] Very disappointed. This was my son's 13th birthday present. After about 1 week the left speaker quit working.
More fun than functional [Posted on 2007-05-06] Works well, but I bought it for the novelty of size and shape rather than performance. If performance were my only criteria, I probably would have bought something else.
I like that it is charged through a USB cable, and I don't need to replace batteries, but I wish the battery life was a little longer.
