I was looking forward to receiving my new Z-cover for my IAudio X5. However, I was certainly disappointed when I put it on for the first time. I immediately noticed that it does not fit very well. I further noticed the holes do not line up for the mic, reset, or the power button. Unfortunately, the neat look of my player was diminished after the cover was installed. My X5 now looks like a deck of cards with a loose rubber cover on it. Also, I quickly learned that the black zCover collects lint faster than you can blink! Just put it in your pocket one time and see what happens. I have resolved that the best way to protect the X5 is to just leave it in your pocket without a cover. With the X5 in your pocket, and your hand over the pocket, the thumb controller can be used by pushing it up or down change volume and tracks. However, if you try that with this cover on, it doesn't work as conveniently since the extra rubber around the thumb controller spoils the operation. The pictures on the web show an attractive cover. However, just like a typical burger joint with impressive pictures of wonderful hamburgers on their menu, what you really get is something that isn't all that impressive as the picture. It's the same in this situation. Here you see a nice picture of a cool looking cover. But in reality you get an awkward piece of rubber that does not have a form fitting appearance like the pictures show. I'm only giving it two stars, because it's a semi-functional cover. Sorry zCover, but I don't want your product anymore. I am returning the Z-cover immediately. Oh, before I forget, the $29.95 price is seriously inflated! This thing is cheap and should only be priced at $10.00 or below. Save your hard-earned money for something else.

Unfortunately I cannot give a 0 or negative rating, since this is my worst experience ever with an online retailer!
Got a defective cover. When I went to contact them, they do NOT provide a number to call (only e-mail). To date they have ignored 30+ e-mails! The one and only response, simply told me to buy another cover!
I would beg you to steer clear of this company, at any cost!
Furthermore, the cover is increadibly overpriced! Save your money! Buy a better cover with a company who gives a crap! (maybe directly from Cowon?)
Clearly zcover does not have a bit of concern over their customers.

I have a x5l 30g, with a ice clear zcover, I ordered my zcover on tuesday night, and it was at my doorstep by friday afternoon. The packaging is top notch. They include a clear zipper case. although it's a tight fit to get your x5 with earphones in it.
The screen protecter works really well and you don't have to worry about air bubbles. At first I was a bit skeptical if it would stay in place, but after a day of use, pulling in and out of my pocket, my worries are gone.
All the controls are easy to get to, plus the cover has an insert integrated into it that allows you to get rid of the stock black plastic insert for the subpack. This gives you one less thing to worry about losing.
The belt clip is easy to take off and put on. The cover itself is very comfortable to hold. and is also easy to slide off or onto the x5. The case has holes for the reset, mic, joystick and power/hold switch, and covers the record and play/pause button. I got the ice clear color, and it almost looks a very light blue with the black x5 underneath. but that might just be my eyes. A sexy Case!!!!
If you are in the market for a case, I highly recommend this one.
Poor Product Life Cycle [Posted on 2006-11-12]
I purchased this product with my X5L 30GB; it protects the device very well, however the thinnest part of the cover is on the back were the belt clip is mounted, this resulted in a failure in the rear area regarding the belt clip. This occurred after about 6-8 months of use.
